TheBalm ShadyLady Eyeshadow in Jealous Jordana Review

The Balm ShadyLady Eyeshadow in Jealous Jordana. Similar to Urban Decay Loaded, except lighter. I remember once at Sephora I had tried on an eyeshadow from one of TheBalm's ShadyLady palettes. I loved it and was really impressed by the quality, but I didn't get it. Recently, I used this eyeshadow to see if it was just as good, and it was!
The color payoff is unbelievable. No need to load up your brush- a little will go a long way!The eyeshadow is slightly soft and applies evenly. The texture was great, didn't leave patches, and was super easy to blend. And I love the color. You don't see greens like this one too often! This forest green has a subtle yellow undertone and a teal micro-shimmer.

Skin Tone Suggestions:
I think this one would look beautiful on someone with olive skin. It would also compliment someone with a neutral undertone or even a yellow undertone. If you want a similar color that would best compliment a cool undertone, try Urban Decay Loaded.

The Big Picture:
Pros:
This eyeshadow was great, they in every aspect. I was especially impressed with the pigmentation. If you haven't tried any of TheBalm's eyeshadows, definitely check them out. Plus they're at a pretty good price point- $16. Totally recommend this. One of the best eyeshdows I've used in a while!
Cons:
None whatsoever!

New from Bobbi Brown: Nail Polish!

Recently Bobbi Brown has launced two nail polish colors: Twilight Night and Turquoise. These are availible at Sephora.com, Sephora, and bobbibrowncosmetics.com for $18 for 0.37 fluid oz. These are limited edition. These are the color descriptions:
Twilight Night: a plummy brown metallic. Cult Nails Enigmatic is similar, and so is Deborah Lippman Dark Side of the moon, but without shimmer.
Turquiose: very bright blue! Definitely Opaque and a lot of fun! Deborah Lippman On the Beach and NARS Thakoon are similar

The Big Picture:
Pros: Unique colors! A good amount of nail polish in the bottle.
Cons: Expensive polish!

Clinique Chubby Stick in Graped Up Swatches and Review

Clinique Chubby Sticks are something I've been wanting for a while and I finally got one! They are lip "crayons" that twist up and down when you need more use. They are all-natural, just like all Clinique products! They are supposed to be hydrating like balm and have some color.

These definitely stick to their claim of being hydrated, it's a great lip balm! I got the color graped up, which is a brown-plum, and though i could see some color, it was mostly a MLBB(my lips but better) shade, but I would classify this product as a lip tint. It does have nice shine though, and it is anything but sticky, and has all the comfort of a balm. The color isn't very long lasting, about 2 hours, but your lips feel hydrated for a while after that!

Pricing and Availibility
US
Clinique.com: $16
Sephora: $16
UK
Sephora.com or Clinique.com: 10 pounds($16) plus shipping.
Beauty stores or counters:  around 15 pounds($24)

Swatches

The Big Picture:
Pros: These stick to their claim of being hydrated, it's a great lip balm. Also, they have a nice shine to it, and it is anything but sticky, and feels like a balm. A nice casual color.
Cons: The color isn't very long lasting. It is expensive, more of a luxury product to me, not one of those products to jump at. If you are looking for big color, you won't find it here.

Meg and Sabz
